Dual Witness: Beholding and Sharing the Glory

Life with God is a dual witness — to behold His glory and to share that glory with others.

The mission of every church is simple yet profound: Love God and bless your neighbours. At The Table, this calling takes shape through our rhythm of inside out (Table Victoria) and outside in (Table Mission) — holding together deep roots in Anglican worship and creative engagement with our city.

This Kaleo Monday, Josh and Andy will open a conversation on what it means to live this Dual Witness — how The Table has sought to embody it from the beginning, and how it continues to guide our shared life and mission today.

Date: Monday, November 3

Time: 5:30pm to 7:30pm

Place: The Hall, Church of Our Lord

Dinner and childcare will be provided.

Please RSVP to andy@tablechurch.ca.

What is Kaleo?

Kaleo is The Table’s leadership and discipleship program. At it's core, the Christian faith is a call (or “kaleo” in Greek) to follow Jesus in all spheres of life. The Bible describes this commitment as discipleship, a blend of a lifelong apprenticeship and ongoing spiritual formation.  Jesus himself told his leaders to always make this a major priority (see Matthew 28).

Much of what we do at The Table revolves around trying to connect the dots between spiritual life and practical life, and we've heavily invested in one . We call it Kaleo: a Call to Gospel Formation.
