Know the Story. Find Your Place. Live the Mission.
Origins is a formation course for newcomers and long-time Tablers alike.
If you’re newer to The Table, Origins is a way to become rooted in the biblical story, our common life, and the mission we share. If you’ve been around for some time, it’s an opportunity to revisit these foundations, deepen your formation, and reconnect with the kind of people we are seeking to become together.
This fall we’ll move through three major themes:
Gospel Formed — learning to understand our lives within the biblical story of creation, fall, Jesus, and new creation.
Family — exploring how the gospel creates a reconciled people and a new common life together.
Priests on Mission — discovering how God forms and sends his people to bear his presence and participate in his mission in ordinary life.
Tonight: What Story Are We Living In?
We’ll begin by asking how stories shape the way we understand ourselves and our world, then locate our lives within the biblical story of creation, human vocation, rupture, and the beginning of God’s work of restoration.
Origins runs from September 15–November 30 in three modules. Each module includes two Tuesday evening Origins gatherings followed by a shared Monday evening Kaleo capstone with the wider Table leadership community.
